What Causes Itchy Bumps On The Side Of Bottom Lip?

Do I have a cold sore or an infection ? I put on chap stick because I woke up and felt that my lips were chapped. The next day I woke up with bumps on the right side of my bottom lip and can t figure out what it is. The bumps are small and hardly noticeable, they rarely Itch or burn.

Hi,
There could be many causes of bumps like minor trauma or contagious like herpes,cancker or allergic etc.
Treatment is mainly depend upon the underlying cause but symptommatic treatment could be helpful.
You can consult dermatologist for clinical examination of the bumps.
Here are few tips which might help you,
Maintain good oral hygiene and avoid hot and spicy foods.
Antihistamines drugs to combat allergic cause.
Take folic acid with vitamin b complex.
