What Causes Itchy Ear With Blood Stains In People With An Inserted Tube?
Im 22 im 5 foot 3 i weigh 280 lbs and had tubes in my ears about 10 years. Deep inside my ears itch from time to time and I clean them often but when I do clean them they are always gross and look like tiny specs of blood or just really dark wax but I have such a terrible time hearing hat could cause this
It may be due to minimal trauma while cleaning gives rise to blood tinge. Old wax may appear like dark brown colour so don't worry. Avoid repeated clearing of ear because it may damage to ear mucosa. Use ear plugs while taking bath. Use decongestant medication to reduce edema. Avoid cool drinks and ice creams. If no improvement please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
