General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Itchy feet has nothing to do with peripheral neuropathy as it is a skin related condition. Following measures will help you:
- Keeping legs clean with antiseptic liquid or soap
- Local application of ice
- Keeping the legs elevated over support of 2-3 pillows when resting
- Avoid prolong weight bearing or bare foot walking
- Avoid tight shoes or socks
- Avoid smoking if involved
- Control of blood sugar
- Control of blood pressure

Remain in regular follow up with your physician for evaluation and further guidelines.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
