What Causes Itchy Heart In Children?

My son is 7 years old he said his heart Itch s what dose that mean he said he feels like he has to hit his chest he is in good health and I think its just because he don t want to go to bed and that s why now the itchy heart is bugging him but what do you think should I be worried??

Dear- thanks for using our service. It is important to find out why he is feeling that his heart itches. It can be just a somatization, meaning that he is trying to complaint about something to get attention but is advisable to have a pediatrician's checkup with an electrocardiogram and echocardiogram to eliminate the possibility of a cardiac malformation or arrythmia.
