my husband has two lessions in the hair of his groin. It started out looking like a bug bite. He picked one and made it bleed but the other one we have left alone. It itches him terribly and we ve been using hydrocortisone cream to control that. It s been there now over a week and not getting better or worse. What could it be? He s 68yrs old and not fooling around so we don t think it s VD.
I have gone through your complaints and it could be infected eczema.
I would recommend you to apply topical steroid antibiotic like clobetasol propionate cream and gentamicin on the affected areas and take antihistaminic like tablet cetirizine depending on the intensity of itching.
