What Causes Itchy Painful Blisters On The Vaginal Area?

HI Doc, last wednesday i had sex with my boyfriend and one day after i noticed my vaginal area has been itching. It s now Tuesday and i have some really painfully blisters along the sides and 2 bumps on the lips of my vagina. I ve researched on herpes and i don t have flu like symptoms only the discomfort in the vaginal area when my urine touches the blisters. Should i be worried that i could have herpes?

Hello,

Could be herpes or Candida breakout. Better run a few diagnostic tests (urine analysis, HSV testing). I advise to consult further with your gynecologist.
