What Causes Itchy Pus Filled Bumps On Armpits?

I broke out with a rash underneath my armpits a few weeks ago. They were small red bumps that are itchy, have puss and spread quickly. Doing research, I thought it might me an allergic reaction to a diet pill I started taking the week before. I stopped taking them just incase... I also treated them with a body acne shower gel and an anti fungal cream. It seemed to help and cleared up a little, other than now having raw and dry armpits. A few days ago, I noticed that the small red bumps have returned, not only in my arm pits, but a couple on my back, my legs and my forearms. Do you think I need an antibiotic? Thank you for your help!

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to fungal infection and secondary bacterial infection. Ointments or creams with combination of antifungal and anti bacterial for local application will be helpful. In such case i usually recommend ointments with combination of antibiotics like ofloxacin and ornidazole along with antifungal like miconazole. I also advise fluconazole tab to take orally.
