What Causes Itchy Rash On Penis And Inner Thighs?

Hello, I have 3 boys who all have the same problem. We have are own pool, we use 1 tablet of chlorine at a time. Every time they go swimming they get a rash on there penis and inner thighs. I have cut out all the lining in there swim suits, i have put a&d cream on before they go in and I have even let them go in the pool with just underwear on. I am wondering what could be the cause to this rash. They tell me that it burns and some times it is itchy. Any idea what it could be and what i could do to prevent this? They enjoy swimming so much and I dont want to keep them out of pools all summer.

The symptoms which you have mentioned is suggestive of a possible fungal infection. Prolonged swimming keeps the area wet which helps in growth of fungal infection. Wash the part with soap and warm water. Keep the part dry. Avoid swimming for few days. This may help.

If symptoms persists even after this, its better to consult a dermatologist for further evaluation and treatment.
