What Causes Itchy Rash On The Neck And Forehead?

i have been having a rash and itching on my neck. every few days it breaks out in a red rash on my fore head and goes away soon. been to doctors. had blood work done. everything was ok. started with my neck and then the itching moved to my face. could it be from estradiol been on them about 4 months

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have itchy rash on the neck and forehead which is firstly due to allergic reaction and secondly it could be due to hormonal fluctuations. Need not to worry.

I would suggest you to :-

- Keep yourself hydrated by drinking lots of fluid .

- Take benadryl to relieve the symptoms.

- Stay away from sun exposure and apply calamine lotion to soothe skin.

If symptoms keep on persisting visit dermatologist once and get complete examination done. Go for blood tests and start treatment accordingly. Doctor may prescribe hormone replacement therapy.
