What Causes Itchy Rash On The Stomach Of An Elderly Person?

Yes, my almost 8 year old has an itchy rash on her stomach and under arms and I think it is from bounce? It has lasted a week and I have gotten rid of the bounce - and it was bounce free - but there are still some clothes that she wears which I need to rewash. I have given her half of loratadome - maybe misspelled - and put cortisone cream on her itchy rash. Anything else?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi thanks for contacting health care magic....

This rash could be from viral or allergic reaction....

He should wear clean clothes...
Anihistaminc tablet can be given....
Yes you can apply topical steroid or calamine lotion over it....
Rest taken.
Healthy and balanced diet taken....
Avoid excess moisture ....

Investigate with CBC and CRP....
Nothing active other needed now.

If rash spreading or increasing then consult physician for that.

Take care.
