What Causes Itchy Rashes All Over Body?

Yesterday around 10:00pm I discovered a rash that covered my body. I was itching to the point I was crying in the shower. I took Benadryl. I did not change soaps of any kind, and ate my normal food. Didn t know if I need to go to the ER. Today, I still see the rash, still itching but not as bad as last night. I feel very thirsty and I feel like I can t focus. As if the room around me if moving. Is this worth going to the ER for?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Itchy rash all over the body is suggestive of a dermatological disorder like allergy or autoimmune disorder.
A clinical assessment by a skin specialist is required to know the nature of the lesion.
A Biopsy of the lesion may be required to confirm and to establish the nature of the lesion.
Treatment can be started after confirming the diagnosis.

Thanks and take care
