What Causes Itchy Rashes All Over The Arms?

I have rashes on my arms, sometimes they get itchy, especially when touched. I think it could be an allergy to some food ( mushroom, brinjal ? ) or bed bugs. Of late there s been too much of bugs in my apartment. They bite me all over during sleep. I wake up in the morning with big bumps all over my arms. The bump subsides after a while. However, I can see tiny bumps , a lot of them on both my arms and they get really itchy when touched. I feel fine within 3-4 of taking shower but after than the itching starts leading to me scratching it and piercing the skin. What can I do to get relieved of the issue?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itchy rashes all over the arms. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergic reaction, contact dermatitis , eczema , psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis. It could be due to hair follicle infection leading to folliculitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cold compresses to rashes. You should consult allergy specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order allergy test , blood test for IgE antibodies and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe anti allergic medicine , corticosteroid ointment and anti inflammatory. Doctor may also recommend you to eat gluten free food if your problem is related with gluten allergy. You should avoid hot, sharp and spicy food. You should take benadryl twice a day and avoid dry environment.
