Every year for the past 2 years, around this time and sometimes in the Spring I get, what seems like bedbug bites or mosquito bites. They are 1000 times more itchy than a mosquito and my Husband does not seem to be affected (if it is bedbugs). Please help!

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
HI, I understand your query & concern. Itching all over body in this particular season seems to be due to allergy. This seasonal allergy can be some pollen grains/eatables/ clothes ( woolen ) / exposure to sunlight, that are specific to the season. Management consists of- - Recognizing the causative factor.( allergen ). by observation & avoid it. - anti allergic pills over the counter ( cetrizine ) once a day , - Consultation of allergy specialist ? allergy testing & desensitization treatment. Thanks.
