What Causes Itchy Rashes All Over The Body?

My 16 year old daughter just came home from being at the pool and has what looks to be like a rash all over her torso and bottom. It is a light pink in color rash and itches very badly. Could this be heat rash or is it possible to be having an allergic reaction to neoprene which is what her bathing suit is made out of?

I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of allergic reaction is more likely.
Allergic reaction can be due to anything, swimsuit or swimming pool water.
Treatment of any kind of allergy is same.
Give her antihistamine (levocetrizine or fexofenadine) and anti allergic (montelukast) combination once daily at night time.
Apply steroid cream (mometasone) on the itchy area of skin.
Don't worry, she will be alright with all these.
