What Causes Itchy Rashes And Dry Patches On Genitals While Having Canker Sore Herpes?
Hi, so, um, in my pubic hair area (male) theres an itchy rash with dry, scaly skin on one part and an open sore next to it, only red and thats about it. this has been a problem for a while, and im afraid of what it could be... i am positive for the canker sore herpes virus, complex B or whatever. Help?? what is it!
As per my clinical experience, the genital herpes do leave dry skin marks with itchy rashes during the recovery phase of stage 1. However, over a period of times, it heals without residual scarring or other ill effects. Kindly continue your anti viral medications as per the guidance of your treating doctor and take care of - Genital hygiene - Avoidance of sexual intercourse till advise of your doctor.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
