What Causes Itchy Rashes Around Anus And Blood In Stool?

Hello sir, Since last two days im getting rashes and very itching and burning effect in anus while passing stool,which remains for around 20 minutes.I also saw some mild rashes of blood.i took ciprotab500 and nicip combination,which controlled all symptoms but they arose again after leaving medication.can it be due to passing of large amount of stool at once?

Hi,

Itching around the anal area may suggest generalised disorders like dermatitis or localised lesion like hemorrhoids, excess friction to the anal region which may occur due to rough wiping. Pin worm infections or bacterial infections should also be treated. Antibacterial or anti-fungal drugs should be used in case of infections. Steroid creams and antihistamines can reduce the itching and discomfort. Sitz bath and stool softeners can be useful in hemorrhoids.
