What Causes Itchy Rashes On The Body After Taking A Lovenox Shot?

I have recently (on Wed 2/26) had two stents placed in my heart. On Thursday I was given an injection of lovenox and took an effient pill 10 mg. In the evening that day I broke out in a rash and itching. Have been to the emergency room and was given prednisone and hydroxyzine. Does this seem reasonable and how long before I see relief?

Hi,

Suggestive of reaction to Enoxaparin Sodium molecule.

Rashes fade up within 2-3 hours of intake of Prednisone. Can return to normal physiology within less than 24 hours.
