What Causes Itchy Rashes On The Body While On Treatment Of Strep Infection?

My girl is 7 years old. she was sick with strep and finish her last dose on Sunday 3/25 she started today with a rush in some places on her body and its icchy . on her belly looks like tiny pimple but on other parts look like mosciti bites . could that be an alergic reaction to the antibiotics even though she finished 3 day ago ? or somthing else going on?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The rashes that you have described about, seems to be allergic but not due to antibiotic after the course is over. Had it been so, it would have occurred with first few doses of the antibiotic.

It must be from some drug she has started recently (like vitamin supplements) or from other causes like insect bite.

Take her to treating physician, let him diagnose after actual examination and advise some suitable anti-allergic.
