What Causes Itchy Rashes On The Face After Taking Clindamycin?

My dentist put me on Clindamycin which I have never taken before he prescribed them to treat tooth infection 3 days ago and because I am allergic to penicillin and it s derivatives. Now a have mild but itchy rash and my face especially on my cheeks and jaw. I haven t changed my skincare regime or anything. Should I stop taking the antibiotics?

that means you are sensitive to clindamycin so report to treating doctor for alternative prescription. in between can take tab levocetrizine 5 mg daily morning.take next medicine after sensitivity test.till sure stop taking antibiotic.
