What Causes Itchy Rashes On The Face?

I have bought la roche-poshay effaclar duo(+) in hope of curing my acne marks and imperfection on my face, i have bought it after reading good reviews about it and it claims to be suitable for sensitive skin, as my skin is very sensitive i only buy products which are suitable for sensitive skin. I have used it on my face for the first tym at night and when i woke up i see a lil rashes around my chin area which i just ignored because I didn't understand how i got it and it was just a little so i just ignored it and then when i use it again in the morning it started feeling itchy and i got more rashes on my face. What can i do now ?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain in case if you have got rashes and itching after using the cream, it is probably due to allergic reaction to any of the ingredients of the cream causing Contact Dermatitis..
I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and allergic tests if needed for diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

The allergist can advise to oral anti allergics as well as injectable steroids for relief..

As of now you can take anti-allergics like Levocetrizine, Allegra to control the itching and swelling..
Do cool compresses..
Application of calamine lotion can help in soothing the skin..
Completely stop the use of the cream and use anything only after advise from a Skin specialist..
