What Causes Itchy Rashes On Upper And Lower Back?

I have a rash on my lower back and upper back, it does itch very bad. My doctor said it was scabies? But my rash does not meet the what i have read about scabies. I have no marks as trails and no liquid that comes from the bumps? Could I have something else and if so what? Also, I have had this about 6 or 8 weeks and nothing has help get rid of it.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello thank you for writing us here.
Your symptoms suggests of acne vulgaris.
Its commonly seen on back.
I would suggest you to go for a course of doxycycline and certizine for one week.
Also make sure you take shower at least 2 times a day. And also don't take shower when you're sweaty.
You'll be alright within 1 Week.
God bless you

Best regards,
Dr Gunjan
