What Causes Itchy Rashes With Pus Filled Blisters On The Legs?
I had a small red bump with black dots in it, pulled the black dots, which what seemed to be splinters, out with tweezers. Over the next week or so, developed an irritating, itchy rash with pus filled blisters. Spread to the other leg as well. What is this?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itchy rashes with pus filled blisters on the legs which seems to be due to seborrheic keratosis, acne, allergic eczema, and could be folliculitis.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to apply cold compresses to the blisters and avoid getting these rubbed with clothes as it will causes friction and can leads to exaggeration of symptoms. If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order blood test , skin allergy test or physical examination. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like clindamycin , immunosuppression and vitamin supplement for quick healing. You should take benadryl twice a day. You should take anti inflammatory and prevent it from sun exposure.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
