What Causes Itchy Red Bumps In The Groin?

There are little red bumps in my groin that become itchy at times, but not all the time. And also, my penis had black scab like spots that itch sometimes but not all the time. I will put Vaseline on it and the scan like things fall right off. There s no oozing or anything like that and sometimes it just itches when there s nothing there. What is this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I feel it's the side effect of the pill (contraceptive) you are taking. Progesteron hormone based (single hormone pill) is known to cause it. I would suggest to take cap CVP gynae 2 caps after food to control the bleeding. and side by side consult your gynecologist for excluding other pathologies causing such problem. Take rest, avoid psychological stress too.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
