What Causes Itchy Red Marks On Stomach After Injecting Trulicity?

I started taking Trulicity injections in July and am experiencing red bite marks appearing on my stomach, first it was 2 marks swollen and itches and each week Id get more marks. My Family Doctor said it looks like hives but it felt like I was getting bitten. I cleaned and vacuumed my bedroom and mattrest and kept waking up with more bites on my stomach. I am wondering if it is the Trulicity?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, i do care for your concern.
Trulicity is a newer drug for diabetes, the study and research materials available to it is very limited.
However some drugs may cause allergic skin reaction, which is a common phenomenon.
I would advise
If the rash marks persist or increase, then stop the medicine and consult your physician and get your diabetic medicine changed. this will definitely help you a lot.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Thank you
I find this answer helpful
