What Causes Itchy Red Spots At The Site Of Injury?

My 21 yr old son, fell and bruised his upper/outer thigh area about 2 weeks ago. The bruise is gone, but now he has a slight rash where the injury occurred. It is itchy, small red spots with a little white head the spots last night, which are now gone. What do you think it could be?

I really appreciate your concern, post injury reactive phenomenon is very likely it is the self limiting most of the time and seldom needs any treatment and best would be Diphenhydramine lotion, else no need to worry about this hope this information helps.
