What Causes Itchy Red Spots On Left Side Of The Vagina?

I have 3 tiny red spots on the left side of my vagina they dont itch just a little tender to touch, I have looked into genital warts but they dont look like that. I am being treated for a water infection at the minute. could you please tell me what these might be,thanks kirsty
