What Causes Itchy Reddish Lines On The Penis?

Hi im a 22 year old male i have a few some times ichy lines on my penis that become red after touching the area , the area itself is at the lower left side of the shaft it recently started to develop scabs not bloody, but sometime very small amounts come out of those lines again if disturbed. i sweat exessivly and have done since i was young around 14 years old , these lines started to appear near that time, my first sexual encounter was also around that time of my life i was worried a long time ago about this but i restrained myself from toughing the area and the lines had gone away in full that doesnt seem to work now please help

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
What problems you are experiencing on the penis could be due to infection of the skin as a result of poor hygiene.
Kindly do the following to overcome it.
1. Wash the area with antiseptic solution like Povidine-iodine twice daily.
2. After drying, apply Neomycin with Hydrocortisone cream.
3. Wear loose fitting undergarments to provide proper ventilation and avoiding friction.
4. Abstain from sexual activities till the lesions heal completely.
5. Maintain good personal hygiene.
