What Causes Itchy Small Bumps On Right Side Of Outer Elbow?
I get itching on my right outer elbow. If I look very closely I see very small bumps that are skin tone and if I squeeze them a clear liquid comes out. There are no blisters, just very small bumps that are skin colored. Is this eczema and if so what type? If not eczema then what is this? This comes on very slowly over many weeks and I ve had it off and on for 4 years. I saw a GP who said I could use hydro-cortisone, but have not seen a dermatologist about this. The first time I got it It spread all down my forearm and on both arms. Sometimes it progresses to a red rash. Over the counter hydro-cortisone seems to make it go away.
Hi!! According to your history it seems to be a case of eczema which is most likely endogenous in nature which occurs due to internal factors of the patient. You should not use soap for bathing instead use soap free cleanser , dont use hot water for bathing, avoid synthetic clothes and keep your body moisturized. Also use a good quality moisturizing lotion liberally and frequently. you should use some good potency steroid like clobetalsol or halobetasol on the affected areas but since they are prescription medicines you will have to consult the dermatologist.I hope to have solved your query.
