What Causes Itchy, Sore And Painful Spot In The Middle Of Back?

I have a spot maybe the size of #2 pencil lead in the middle of my back it itched at first now it black and it feels like I m lifting up on something when I feel it. I thought it was a tick at first now it s soar and hurts my husband said he didn t see it a few weeks ago now he can. He says it s brown I took a picture of my back with my phone it looks black to me and we both feel it lifting like there s something in it do I need to go to my Dr and can you tell me what it may be. Someone told me they had a blackhead that done like this years ago
