I was screwing in a small amber light bulb in the socket above the stove burners. As I was bent down to see the socket from below, and while my head was a few inches away from burner area, the bulb was dropped and broke near the burners and near my head/mouth. I felt something different in the back of my throat immediately, like possibly a tiny foreign object. I ignored it now for a few hours, and now my throat feels scratchy and I now have a mild cough. No pain, just scratchiness. Sort of afraid to drink or eat anything.

Hi, Welcome to HCM, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. in my opinion, you néed endoscopy procedure, to rule out any foreign body impaction in mucosa of throat. it may cause airway obstruction or sepsis. Kindly evaluate with an ent surgeon for the procedure and it s removal. all the best, take care.
