What Causes Itchy Vagina Despite Using Vagisil After Having Sex?
Hi,My boyfriend and I recently had a heavy day of sex. The next day I felt extreme discomfort and itchiness inside my vagina (just wear it meets the crack). My boyfriend also experiences itchiness and spots on his penis; however, the doctor said it was most likely just a friction burn. I tried Vagisil to ease the itching, but it does nothing. Do you have any idea what may be causing this irritation?

Hello,
It may be due to bacterial vaginitis.
For that you may require complete hemogram, discharge culture, urine analysis after gynaecologist consultation.
You may require antibiotics after consultation.
Maintain proper hygiene.
Use v wash.
Avoid harsh cosmetic products.
Avoid sexual act till complete recovery
