What Causes Itchy Vaginal Area And Bumps On Penis After Having Sex?
Hi, we had sex on Friday morning and yesterday my gf was complaining of an itchy mild soreness on her vagina, I noticed also a very slight heat sensation on my penis too, I looked and it was patchy red with a few slight bumps, it was a longer than usual session and she has had this problem before once or twice, is this thrush? She applied some lamisil to it, would this help us both?
Hello dear Understand your concern I thing you both are suffering from STDs as you have history of unprotected sexual intercourse. Following are the most common STDs: chlamydia, and gonorrhea. It may be fungal infections or hygiene problem. Exact diagnosis is made by examination after proper investigation of for STDs (cell culture, gram stain and serology). Both of you require treatment after exact diagnosis. Meanwhile take following advice: Tablet ceftriaxone plus flucanazole, clotrimazole ointment, wear pure cotton loose inner wear, use liquid ointment that contain vitamin and mineral, avoid sex till you get better, use safe sex practice to prevent infection in future, maintain hygiene (wash pelvic area with warm salted water 2-3 times daily) Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
