What Causes Itchy Vaginal Blisters?

Hi my boy friend and I had sex on Saturday and sunday he started feeling sick. I noticed and felt a sore on the outer part of my vagina. Its almost like a bump with a little cut in the middle of the bump. My boy friend is still feeling really sick and went to the doctor. He also a welt like mark on his mouth. I have developed about four bumps on my vagina that are itchy. Do you know what this could be?
