What Causes Itchy White Bumps On Middle Eye Lashes?
Last week my daughter complained of an itchy, bumpy lower lash line. This morning when I washed my face, I noticed that my cleanser kind of stung along my bottom lash line & upon closer inspection I had a tiny, white bump on the rim of my eye, towards the middle (not near corner) between the lashes & eyeball. I scratched it until it ruptured, which burned. I was out shopping for a few hours & noticed my eye was beginning to feel tender when I blinked or touched my lid. I got home & saw that I had a large pustule on my upper lid (same eye) near, but not in, the inner corner. It ruptured when I immediately washed my face. My daughter admitted to using my eyeliner & mascara since her eye irritation started. I threw out all the eye make-up. What could this be? Should we see a DR?
Hi, From history it seems that your daughter might be having Blapheritis of eye lashes and using same eyeliner might have given same infection in your eye. Due to rupturing bump there might be having secondary bacterial infection into eye. Clean your eye with warm water and put antibiotic eye drops for few days. Do not try to pop the bumps. Ask your daughter to apply antibiotic eye ointment on eye lashes. Ok and take care.
