When I wake up in the morning after sleeping all night all of my joints ache. Ankles, knees, wrists, arms, hips, thighs, heals on the bottom of my feet. Very stiff in the morning, Feels like all my musels are as tight as a rubber band. Takes me awhile to get going. Find relief with motrin 800.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to the HCM.
Joint pain and stiffning in the morning can happen because of arthritis..To rule out wether it is rheumatoid or systemic arthritis ,you may need some routine investigation and inflammatory markers tests .For example C.B.C,ESR,CRP and factor F.And may discuss further with the rheumatologist. For pain you may take NSAIDS (ibuprofen, naproxen) and start light exercise daily to decrease the stiffness.
Regards.
