What Causes Joint Pain In Shoulders And Arms With Tingling?

I m having constant joint pain in my shoulders and arm and muscle pain,like cramps in my forearms especially. I m just wondering what it might be besides arthritis. I also get tingling sensation sin my fingers. I m a 58 year old male who did labor intensive work well into middle age

Hello there. Thanks for writing to HCM. Pain in the shoulder and arm and sort having tingling sensation in the arm is suggestive of a cervical disc problem. It could be as plain as a cervical spondylosis to a minor nerve root compression. I suggest you take an xray of the cervical spine after you see your orthopedician. In some instances, a MRI may be needed.
