What Causes Joint Pain In The Left Knee While On Flagyl And Cipro?

Hi Dr. Rynne, My name is Nancy and I have been on a 7 day round of Flagyl 500 mg and Cipro 500 mg since 12/2 for a diverticulitis attack on 12/1. Beginning yesterday I began experiencing joint pain in my left knee, which I had a TKR 2 years ago this past January. The knee had completely healed, no problems at all. I iced my knee last night and too Advil, which helped. This morning I awoke to a more sharp type of knee pain in my knee around the cap and to the anterior. Also, my right ankle I can hardly move, also joint pain and feels like it needs to be popped, but it can t and is very painful. It is becoming more difficult to walk, and I was down to my last day of antibiotics, which I have not taken yet today. Does this sound antibiotic related? Thank you.
