General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is quite normal during periods and will settle by itself. No definite treatment is required. If symptoms persist long, better to consult a gynecologist and get evaluated. In that case you can go for an ultrasound scan to rule out conditions like PCOS.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
