What Causes Knee Pain Radiating To The Thigh And Calf?

What could be causing knee pain, Xrays have not detected anything. Serious difficulties bending it going up & down stairs, impossible to kneel or place any weight on that leg. The pain radiates down the calf & behing the thigh, though it does not appear neither swollen nor red, perhaps a little warm. It started about three weeks ago & the curious thing it began on the other knee first, which seem back to normal.

It can be pain related to osteoarthritis.

You can consult an orthopedician and get evaluated. You might require an MRI scan for further evaluation.
