What Causes Knee Pain While Bending Down?
a few days ago I experienced severe pain while bending down to retrieve something. i had no previous pain. pain is in tissue around knee, not in bone. pain travels around knee cap and down calf. there are no bumps, bites, or bruises. i do spend alot of time landscaping. also for a few weeks i have experienced swelling in the knuckles of my dominant hand

Concurrent swelling in knuckles of dominant hand points towards a joint pathology.
