What Causes Knee Pain?

My knees (both) started to hurt 1 months ago. I feel them whe I get up from bed. Today I had to go flight of stairs, it was painful. I stopped water excersise 2 weeks ago, thinking, perhaps I damaged my knees jumping in the water, but they still hurt even more. What is it? Arthritis all of a sudden? Or something else? I never had a problem before

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to arthritis. Taking X ray of knee in anterior and lateral projections will be helpful to rule out this. If it is beginning then NSAIDs like Ibuprofen or diclofenac, diacerin, glucosamine and muscle strengthening exercises will be helpful.
Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
