What Causes Knees And Jaw Muscles Pain While Having High TSH?

My sister is having pain in knees when she climbs stairs. she is just 20 yrs age. her weight is 67 kgs and height is 5ft 3inch. she also has little high TSH. on 50 mcg thyroxine. also had some pain in jaw muscles causing regular head ache. what cud be reason.

cannot say in her particular case without an exam AND being a bit overweight an strain the knees. Having low thyroid can cause weight gain.. but it does not directly affect the joints. If someone previously had very high thyroid due to an autoimmune disease that burns it up and out... this would affect joints and result later in not having a thyroid.
