What Causes Knot And Soreness At An Injection Site?

Hi, I recently started another roid cycle, I did my test sustanon on Friday, went very well, on Sunday I did my deca injection, this is the first time I've injected deca, it's been about 36 hours and the injection sight is very sore, has a knot in it and is hot, but it's not that red, what does this mean?
