What Causes Lack Of Appetite While Suffering From Hemorrhoids?

Dear doctor, I have been suffering from piles for yrs now but de situation is getting bad cause am in prison nd I stay with inmates who are always smoking all sorts of substances. I dont hv appetite for food either. No money for surgery too. Pls Wat do I do?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
It is unfortunate to note that you have piles and also decreased appetite, and you are in prison.
For piles problem, you need to get assessed by a Surgeon and undergo Cryosurgery for cure.
Since you are loosing blood in stools because of piles, you might be anaemic too. You need to take Iron, Folic acid and protein supplements to restore the iron content in your body.
Regarding appetite, you can take syrup which contains Cyproheptadine Hydrochloride with digestive enzyme preparations.
