What Causes Lack Of Energy While Walking?

Quite often when I am walking I get a sudden feeling of lack of energy. It affects my entire body and even affects my though processes. It is like walking into something that resists any movement. It will be like this for up to 20-30 mins, and then it will go away slowly. One it has gone I can walk normally, but it can come back a number of time per day.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are having muscle weakness symptoms.

The electrolyte disturbance, thyroid problem, liver and kidney disease etc are some of the common causes for that.

For that, I suggest you investigate with serum TSH estimation, serum sodium and calcium estimation, sgpt, urea and creatinine estimation for initial investigations.

You can revert back with reports once done.

Meanwhile, you can take a multivitamin tablet for your symptoms.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
