OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Sudden intrauterine death us possible and can be due to gestational diabetes mellitus, antiphospholipid antibody syndrome or autoimmune diseases.
I will suggest her to get investigated for these conditions 6 weeks after the delivery, so that appropriate treatment can be given in next pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
