What Causes Lack Of Focus And Difficulty To Balance While On Hydrocodone And Neurontin?
My husband takes hydrocodone 15mg for severe arthritis pain, he recently developed an inflamed nerve from an iv he received for chemo to treat his lung cancer. For that nerve pain he was given NUEROTIN. Since then he is very confused and very unstable on his feet, needs a walker and my help to walk. Which of these medications would cause this or is it the combination of the two?

hydrocodon is an opiate and nuerotin is gabapentin an neuro transmitter which is used in neuropathic pains
both alone and in combination can cause the dizziness
in fact nuerotin alone can give your husband fair amount of pain relief in his arthritis as well can try stopping hydrocodon or tapering it off and see if the symptoms reduce
