What Causes Lack Of Penile Erection After Taking Heparin Therapy?
Boyfriend has Deep veinthrombosis... just got out of the hospital... been on a heparin drip for 4 days. he starts warfarin tomorrow, but can t get an erection now. The skin is pale and not responsive to any of the usual methods. He s terrified right now, probably thinks one of his blood clots moved and is blocking it. Should we take him to the hospital or will this pass?

This wouldn't be a problem with the clot breaking off and getting to the penis because that simply can't happen. His erection problem for now is probably just due to anxiety and he should regain full function soon
