What Causes Lack Of Periods After Taking Birth Control Injection?

Hallo. I had an abortion about 6/7months ago,straight after the abortion they gave me the 3month birth control injection but as for the next app to get the shot I did not go. I would like to no as of why I still haven t got my periods and every month period time I start spotting with a bad odor. Thank u
