What Causes Lack Of Thirst, chest Tightness And Dizziness?
Hi, for the last couple of years I m never thirsty! I never, I mean never drink water. Every morning I have a cup of coffee that takes me couple hours to finish { warming it up a lot} I can eat all meals and don t feel the need to drink anything, I usually don t. I d say the last 2 years I have been having tightness in my chest { I have Asthma} I feel like I m having a heart attack on top of that I get dizzy standing up, light headed and headaches. Is this because I m never thirsty, so I don t drink anything?
Check blood pressure, ECG and spirometry. Check if you are not addicted to coffee, as these things in the long term can produce symptoms too. It is a good habit to drink water, it detoxify the body. Take at least 3-4 liters per day. Not immediately after food, but take time, at least take 30 mins after meals with doses of your current medication. It’s good to learn breathing exercises in asthma and take healthy food and antioxidants. Amla, aloe vera, fruits, juices, basil etc., are good too.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
